Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sump Pump Repair Guys collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what choices you have. Last updated September 2026.

Who we are

Sump Pump Repair Guys operates sumppumprepairguys.com and arranges sump pump diagnostics and repair for homeowners. You can reach us at info@sumppumprepairguys.com or on (512) 688-8345.

What we collect

• Information you give us

Your name, phone number, email address, service address and a description of the problem, when you call us, message us or submit a form.

• Call information

The number you called from, the time and length of the call, and notes a technician or dispatcher makes about the job.

• Website usage

Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the site or search that referred you. This is collected automatically.

• Cookies

Small files used to keep the site working, remember preferences, and measure how pages perform. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, quote and schedule work, dispatch a technician to the right address, invoice for completed jobs, keep records of what was repaired, meet legal and tax obligations, and improve the website. We do not use your details to build a profile of you beyond what the job requires.

Who we share it with

Only where it is needed to do the work or run the business: the technician or contractor attending your property, our phone and scheduling providers, payment processors, and accountants or advisers under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Job and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

• Access and correction

Ask us what we hold about you, and have anything inaccurate corrected.

• Deletion

Ask us to delete your information, except where we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

• Marketing

Tell us to stop sending marketing messages at any time. Service messages about a booked job will still reach you.

• Cookies

Control or clear cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
