Water on the floor at 2am, or a pump you just want checked before the wet season. Same number either way, and the advice on the call costs nothing.

How to reach us
The fastest route is always the phone. A sump pump problem is described far better out loud than in a form, and most of the time a few questions narrow the fault before anyone gets in a van.
If water is already coming in, call rather than email. Emails get read, but they do not get read at three in the morning, and a basement filling up is not something that should wait for office hours.
For anything that is not urgent, a quote request, a question about a repair we carried out, or a second opinion on a price you have been given elsewhere, email is fine and you will hear back.

What to have ready
None of this is required, and you should never delay an emergency call to gather it. But if you have a minute, these few details usually narrow the fault before we arrive.
- 01
What the pump is doing
Silent, humming without moving water, running non-stop, or switching on and off every few seconds. Each of those points at a different fault, and the difference matters more than anything else you can tell us.
- 02
Whether it runs when you lift the float
Reach in and raise the float by hand. If the pump starts, the switch has failed rather than the motor, which is usually a small parts-level repair rather than a replacement.
- 03
How the water arrives
Slowly over days, or within minutes of heavy rain. Whether it comes up through the floor drain or seeps in at the wall joint. These tell us whether we are looking at groundwater, a sewer issue or the pump itself.
- 04
Roughly how old the pump is
Even a rough answer helps. Past seven to ten years, replacement becomes the sensible option more often. Below that, a repair usually holds and costs a fraction as much.
- 05
Your address
Local conditions decide a great deal here. Soil type, whether your street is on a combined or separated sewer, and which authority covers you all change what is likely to be happening.
- 06
Any quote you already have
If someone has already priced the job, tell us the number and what it covers. We will tell you honestly whether it sounds right, even when the answer is that it does.
How we work once you call
Five steps, the same every time and in every area we serve. No sales visit, no waiting days for a number.
- 1
We narrow it on the phone
A few questions about what the pump is doing, how the water arrives and where you are. This is free, and some callers resolve it themselves before we ever book a visit.
- 2
We check the whole setup
Pit, pump, float switch, check valve and discharge line, plus basin volume against real inflow and where the discharge and downspouts actually terminate.
- 3
We test under water
The basin gets filled and we watch a real cycle: activation height, run, shutoff, and whether anything comes back through the valve. Guessing is not testing.
- 4
You get a price, then we repair
A written number before anything is touched, approved by you. If the job belongs with the city or another trade rather than with us, we say so and you pay nothing for equipment you do not need.
- 5
We test again and hand it over
Final full-cycle test, then we show you how to check it yourself and what to watch for before the next wet season.
Call now and tell us what the pump is doing.
Emergency repair, water source diagnosis, pit and valve testing, or a full-system inspection before the wet season. Answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
