Accessibility Statement

Sump Pump Repair Guys wants this website to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. Last updated September 2026.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1, at Level AA. That standard covers text alternatives, colour contrast, keyboard operation and clear page structure.

What we have done

• Text alternatives

Photographs carry descriptive alt text, and every diagram on the site has an accessible label describing what it shows.

• Keyboard access

Links, phone buttons and the expanding question panels can be reached and operated without a mouse.

• Readable structure

Pages use real headings in order, so a screen reader can move through a page section by section rather than line by line.

• Contrast and sizing

Body text is set in a high contrast dark tone on light backgrounds, and the layout reflows on small screens and when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

Some diagrams convey detail that is difficult to express fully in a short label, so the key points in each one are also written out in the text beside it. Content supplied by third parties, such as embedded maps or scripts, may not fully meet the same standard. We are working on both.

Getting the same information another way

If any page is hard to use, call us on (512) 688-8345 and we will give you the same information over the phone, including quotes, service details and anything shown in a diagram. The phone line is answered 24 hours.

Tell us about a problem

If you meet a barrier on this site, we want to hear about it. Email info@sumppumprepairguys.com with the page address and a short description of what went wrong and what you were using, such as a screen reader or a particular browser. We aim to reply within five working days.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-off task. We review pages as we build them and fix issues as they are reported, and this statement is updated when things change.
